I always thought the saying “Cold hands, warm heart” was peculiar for several reasons. For starters, it simply doesn’t make sense. Second, who likes to have cold hands? And, lastly, if I have warm hands, does that make me a bad person despite points #1 and #2?
With winter slightly less than two months away, I’m not dealing with frostbite. I prefer to sport red gloves, not red fingers. Therefore, I’m making this phrase my own and changing it to “Warm hands, warm heart.” I’m sure I’m not alone in this movement because, really, what other pressing issues do we have to address right now? It’s not like the Promo Marketing offices are based on Spring Garden Street in Philadelphia―you know, where Hurricane Sandy just left its mark.
